I have been a fan of Ms. Price's Gargoyle series since book 1 with Luc and Kylie. I have Kindle Unlimited which means I could have gotten this book for free. With this book, as a subscriber to her newsletter, I was able to get a free copy a week before it was up on Amazon. I didn't want to wait a week, lol, so I got it but I knew I was going to come here once it was posted and purchase.I don't usually do reviews because I think I suck at them lol. But here we go.
Tristian's book picks up very soon after Brom and Drago's books. Tristian is the quieter of all the Goyles and prefers learning than picking up a weapon...doesn't mean he can't fight it's just he is not ruled by his aggression or need to fight. Kylie (she is mated to the Gargoyle leader, Luc) teaches him how to use the computer and he learns quickly. This is where Gwen comes into the story. She is a young lady working different jobs, one of which is at the town's Library, to help her mother who is battling cancer. As a Cancer survivor, I found this hard to read but her mom is a fighter! Her father is out of the picture. You learn that story as you learn more about Gwen. Gwen is also the creator of the town's website and this is how she and Tristian meet, through the sites message board. I thought the way Tristian and Gwen get to know each other was very sweet. They both have a love of books and after a bad relationship, Tristian makes her feel at ease, even though they don't meet for a while. Not too much sexual overtone to the book which was fine. The violence was at a minimum... there is a fight that takes place but it is not overly graphic.
If you have read any of the other books in the series then you will not be disappointed. If this is your first experience with Ms. Price's Goyles, I strongly recommend you do so as they will give you an insight to the Goyles origin story and the enemy they are fighting against.
Ms. Price's books have an overall storyline that are within the books. There is humor and tenderness and at times hot love scenes. If you are a fan of PNR then I think you would enjoy this book series.

This book was amazing, with awesome characters, and loved everything about it? Read this book in one day; I just couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read the next one and recommend this series to anyone who loves reading about shifters romance?
This book is great.
Mistakenly kidnapping a woman and realizing she is your mate. How and what are the simplest and most endearing things can you do to get this woman to accept you and your beast? It is funny, it is loving, and it is sexy all rolled up into one Big Package. WOW
Another great installation in the Gargoyles series by E A Price. I really liked that the two main characters met in a chat room online. It's really bringing the story into present day more. And this gargoyle is as unique as all the others she's written.
Love this series and this story didn't disappoint. I actually read it on her websites free as a subscriber to her newsletter, but purchased a copy to keep and to show support for her writing. Keep up the good work!
I really hope we haven't seen the last of the gargoyles. These books really pull me into their reality. I really enjoyed reading them. The only bad part of the book is the end. I'm not really great at writing reviews. There are a few authors I keep a close eye on, and this is one. I have around 500 books, some of them I've re-read up to 10 times. Some authors I will just get the books without seeing what they are about, this author is one of those. Thanks for the great books! It's nice to have something so very different from all the others.
I have read so many books by this author and have not been disappointed once. Her books are fun and funny heartwarming and always have a good ending. I love a good ending.
I was diasappointed. On all the other books, the were 4 to 5 star for me. This one was not. I did not like the main characters in this one. I did not like the female character's jealousy and catty-ness. The male MC seems to be a previous man-whore or should I say gargoyle-whore. If he felt the need, he just found another gargoyle in the day and "got it done". I thought seriously. Face palm! In this book, she tried to make him come across smart but not at the same time. It was annoying. He is the analytical mind of clan and his previous clan but acts like an animal in other areas like relationships and sex. It did not work for me. My opinion only
